Hvem vi er: Den danske skole i Washington, DC er en weekendskole for elever i alderen 3 til 15 år. Skolen er registreret som en non-profit organisation i USA med en valgt bestyrelse. Midler til skolens drift kommer udelukkende fra det opkrævede undervisningsgebyr samt fra fundraising.Det er skolens formål at undervise i dansk sprog og kultur. Endvidere tilbyder skolen et internationalt perspektiv gennem sit samarbejde med Washington International School.

The Danish School, located in Washington, D.C. is a week-end program for students between the ages of 3 and 15. The school is a non-profit organization governed by an elected Board of Directors. Funding for the operation of the school comes from educational fees paid by the students and from fund raising activities.
The school’s mission is to educate its students about the Danish language and culture. In addition, the school provides a broader international perspective through its association with the Washington International School.
