Hvem vi er: Den danske skole i Washington, DC er en weekendskole for elever i alderen 1 til 13 år. Skolen er registreret som en non-profit organisation i USA med en valgt bestyrelse. Midler til skolens drift kommer udelukkende fra det opkrævede undervisningsgebyr samt fra fundraising. Det er skolens formål at fremme den specielle tilknytning til Danmark, ved at undervise i dansk sprog og kultur. Du kan læse mere om skolen i vores brochure som du kan se her.
Her findes vi: Skolen ligger i Bethesda, MD og undervisningen foregår på Stone Ridge School , 9101 Rockville Pike, MD 20814. Indgangen ligger ved Lower School, lige foran legepladsen

Who we are

Who we are: Our mission is to educate the students about Danish language and culture. Further, a broad international perspective is provided in connection with our association with Washington International School. Please visit our "Mission and Curriculum" page for additional information. The Danish School, located in Washington D.C., offer weekend classes for students between 1 – 13 years. The school is a non-profit organization governed by an elected board of parent representives. Funding for the school is obtained via students’ enrollment fees as well as from fund raising activities.
We are located at: Bethesda, MD where the teaching takes place at the Stone Ridge School, 9101 Rockville Pike, MD 20814. Entrance is at Lower School, rigth in front of the playground.
